Headed out to Orchard Road earlier today, and it seemed like the entire population of Singapore (and tourists as well) was out in full force taking on the streets. Maybe it had to do with the display of Christmas lights that take place every night, coupled with selected stores that have already started  with their sales.

I must say that I quite liked the Christmas light-ups; Orchard Road is all about flash, lights, fashion and fun … and this year they have indeed gone all out with the elaborate displays.

Unfortunately I did not really take any photos of the light-ups - will do so in time to come! My girlfriends and I are supposed to be meeting within this week or so, once they are all done with the exams. (I was the first to end my exams last Thursday)

Outfit was ballerina-inspired … and for the record, I do not cannot dance to save my life ;)

Heels - H&M (I am devastated - I just noticed several cracks at the bottom of these shoes. Having subjected them to various bouts of torture ie running, dancing, walking for miles, these heels are beginning to die on me. Le sigh.)

And I HAD to get that lip-shaped make-up pouch ($15) from Sephora when I saw it; way too kitschy and cute! It’s part of the Crazy Horse holiday line; the make-up items are really cute … totally the flashy items that I dig!
